Woodcrest Circle is a short dead-end street, about 460 feet long, in East Billerica. It leaves the east side of Jobe Lane and runs east to a cul-de-sac, near Jones Brook. It was laid out on "Lawrence Estates," a subdivision drawn for Lawrence Walsh of Pinehurst by Cuoco and Cormier, Inc., civil engineers and land surveyors of Tewksbury. The plan is dated April 15, 1988, was revised on August 31 and December 20, 1988 and March 5, 1989, and was recorded on March 27, 1989 in four sheets (Plan Book 168, Plan 104). It shows Woodcrest Circle leaving Jon Lane, as Jobe Lane was then called, with house lots of more than an acre on both sides and Jones Brook along the back of the easternmost lot; one sheet of the full set gave the plan and profile of the new street.
The first house lot on Woodcrest Circle was sold in April 1991, and the houses were built between 1991 and 1993. At the first session of the annual fall town meeting on October 6, 1992, under Article 13, the town accepted "the laying out of Woodcrest Circle for its entire length from Jobe Lane to a cul-de-sac, a distance of approximately 463 feet," "a way 40 feet wide," after the Planning Board had voted on September 28 to recommend it; the vote was unanimous. The street was repaved in fiscal 2017. No record found explains the name.
